My god the excitement of a back three next year of 15. Carbery, 14. Byrne/ Larmour and 11. Lowe is unreal. Definitely the most dangerous back three we've had since the pomp of Shaggy, Girv and Hickie!

Repeating his leaving in St Michaels?
Don't think he'd make their SCT these days.

Cambridge dear boy, Cambridge. Not certain by any means but something he's definitely looked into.

They're going to need a bigger boat.

Since this post we've played Cardiff and Wasps and our scrum stats are now:
  • PRO12 - 130/132
    HCup - 44/44
Just out of interest but what about the penalty we gave away for wheeling the scrum against Wasps on Saturday? Are scrum penalties not included in the stats?
Was it from a Wasps put in? Those stats are for scrums from a Leinster put in I would imagine

Exactly - the numbers above are only for Leinster put ins.

On the topic of stats... Leinster have scored 114 tries and in just 25 games this year between ECC and Pro12, works out at an average of 4.56 per game!

Only 28 penalties scored in 25 games.

And no drop goals.

I'm delighted (if slightly surprised) to see both Byrnes and both Dalys renewed. All have the potential to be important players for us and have shown up well in limited gametime this year.

Leavy, Murphy & Conan all resigning is huge for the backrow.

Ross is retiring isn't he? Get him involved in the coaching set up ASAP!
Cronin is surely a national contract?
Ferg might get offered something over the next few weeks, really happy for him getting his try last week.
Ryan, Dardis are both gone surely?

It's very unlikely that Cronin would be let go as that would leave us very light at 2.

Based on recent selections, but with no immediate memory of original contract terms, a little surprise at inclusion of Nagle AND Kearney. With Ryan's return expectedand possible return from NZ of our former Academy player, I would have thought this would be a choice of one of them.
