As sure as the sun setting, Leinster...

Post by Peg Leg »

Will take a 20 min nap during the game.
Do not put teams to the sword.
Ease off after the BP has been secured.

These are the things you could rely on from Leinster of old and good indiators of the major changes in performance attitude of late. With an average of 4.5 tries per game and the backs getting in on the action Leinster have made some remarkable progress. The 6N period is a serious leveller for the Pro12, the weaker teams lose fewer players the stronger ones more and we have come through this with a BP in every match.

The internationals may have a fight on their hands to get a starting berth when they return. And the province is in rude health.

Don't forget 31 tries in the Heino! at a rate of 5.16 tries per game.

At a tangent to the topic, but still worth ar mention, Castres beat Clermont on the weekend in Top14 so they lie third with MontP 4th. Fairly indicative of the standard we've had to face across this Season. With Wasps topping the Premiership as we prepare to face them, it's clear that progress this Season can only be made by beating top teams.......... no gimme draw.

Reverting more to topic, @peg le. might also have included some surprise training injury as a regular occurence for our Squad.

Touch wood, the S&C guys have done a great job in rehabbing this season and guys returning have really looked ready for action and performed very well e.g. Joey, Ferg, Rossy, Dave K. Nice work guys.
