Great kick by Carty but Dave was caught there.

Ah that's harsh. It was just lovely play from Carty to expose our rush D.

Jaysus- that was played in slo-mo. Composure though. Three tries in first half...

Lovely pass from Byrne there. McGrath went completely wrong way, smart from Reid to switch play.

HT.
When two teams play bomberball it's bloody well great entertainment.
Maybe not for the purists mind.

His job is to stay out on his wnger - he didn't and hence the no man's land comment.
This is a serial issue for him at this stage.

Yeah. But how did he miss that conversion. Playing well from the hand but kicking inconsistently/ poorly from the ground. Could cost us yet inna probable one-scorer.

Ah in fairness it was hardly a gimme! Massive wind behind it too.

He's very mixed though. That pass to ground and kick out on the full was unforgiveable.
Hopefully we kick more in 2nd half as our exits have been putting us under pressure. Wind seems heavy though.

Dominic Ryan showing why he's so far down the list IMO.... 3 stupid and completely avoidable penalties. That one for not rolling was just infuriating!! What a game though!

Jaysus but Adam Byrne is so frustrating; a curate's egg.
Brilliant going forward; often clueless in defence.
Heavily involved in two of our tries and lots of our attack.
Missed tackles; gave away a penalty in front of the posts; totally out of position for their try.
If only it was American football and we could bring him on with the offensive line.

What tackles did he miss?

Pretty harsh to blame him for 'giving away a penalty in front of the posts' considering the two men rucking failed to clear out Buckley.

Don't remember the missed tackles and I'd forgive him outnumbered concession of the penalty. But he was caught out for the try and has been prone to coming off his man.

Which issue and why.
I'd be interested in your explanation for why he keeps coming in off his winger.
Connacht certainly knew how to exploit this flaw in his game.
