thats the rumour anyway.. milne going west certainly could be viewed as one that got away.. but clarkson at u18 level is as good if not better prospect at TH prop combined with Aungier... so its not really a position in need of talent, plus as a roscrea player it would almost a surprise if he chose leinster over connacht

bringing delahunt back would be a move id agree with.

I'm lead to believe that leinster will have at least 5 u19 players joining the full academy straight from school this summer:

Told today Milne was joining the academy, so who knows whats going on.

I'd imagine that Leinster offered him a sub-academy deal and Connacht offered him an academy place. He told Connacht yes and then Leinster realizing that they were going to lose him upped their offer to a full academy place.

Yeah it's interesting, there are better tighthead prospects in system than loosehead IMO.

Looks to have passed on Jordan Duggan, who is the current irish u20 LH and offered Milne a place ahead of him.
