I fkckn love the Cheetahs. There's a guy called Ox Nche on their team, what's not to love about that?

Cheetahs win and Scarlets pick up a LBP.
Great result for us. Puts us back within touching distance of top of the conference.

Cheetahs at home against Scarlets today. Scarlets just scraped past the Kings last week. Cheetahs have looked decent at home. Should be a cracking game. Let's hope Cheetahs beat them. Even then, you could see Scarlets getting 2 points though.
5 for us; 3 for Ulster; 1 for Scarlets. Good weekend. Scarlets get one more than us from Cheetahs though.

Both Ulster and Scarlets got last minute scores to get an extra match point out of their fixtures but still a good weekend for Leinster. We'll probably end up coming second in the conference to Scarlets, the Six Nations double-header with them will be key.

Scarlets schedule is the strangest I've ever seen, they some how managed to avoid playing a top 2 team, until round 15; just when the 6 nations is about to start and all the top teams have their squads drained of players... very interesting...

Yeah, the Pro14 so favours the Irish provinces.

Scarlets have played both their games against Kings and the only Italian game they have left is away to Treviso. We have Treviso, Zebre and Kings all at home still to come. They may have gotten an extra point out of their trip to Cheetahs, but we got an extra 3 out of our trip to Belfast. At this stage we’re in a very good place.

Surely its the home and away games against the Scarlets late Feb and early March that will have far more bearing on who tops the conference rather than home matches v Italian and S African sides.

It will, I'm just pointing out that we're in a relatively good place when you look at how the fixtures have fallen. Win those 2 games and we probably will top the conference. But only being 3 points behind given the games each team has played is good.

+1
And the longer it goes with our players returning from injury and getting National Camp time, the more coherent our team will be, even with rotation. However, ultimately, other than for pride it will come down to the Play-offs and who gets Glasgow at home in semi-final as Final is "neutral" venue or had it been forgotten?

I think we've already demonstrated that a Leinster first 23 can easily beat Glasgow in Glasgow.
