If Dev plays, it will be his 200th Leinster cap. Fair dues to that man.

Hopefully not to train the hookers to throw. One of the worst pie chuckers I've ever seen!

Doesnt look like too many changes so, but we should be slightly stronger and have enough for bp win
Cardiff lost at home to Edinburgh and they pretty much had a full deck

He looks more and more like Al Capone these daysLeinsterLeader wrote:Anybody know why Raphaël Ibañez was at training?

He was old school with the one-handed effort IIRC. Perhaps he's over on media business?jimbobjoe wrote:Hopefully not to train the hookers to throw. One of the worst pie chuckers I've ever seen!

If the stories about how he behaved in Bordeaux are true, I hope we don't have anything to do with him.Leinster Lout wrote:He looks more and more like Al Capone these daysLeinsterLeader wrote:Anybody know why Raphaël Ibañez was at training?
Even if they aren't, I would struggle to see what role he could possibly fill with us.
Can only imagine Maddog's reaction to seeing him there.

Probably something like 'Jaysus I hope he doesn't join the Leinster coaching team, I'll never get back into blue then considering how sh!t I played for him'.curates_egg wrote:

That's one version of events. Not Maddog's though I'd say, certainly not based on the limited amount he's given away in interviews.wixfjord wrote:Probably something like 'Jaysus I hope he doesn't join the Leinster coaching team, I'll never get back into blue then considering how sh!t I played for him'.curates_egg wrote:

You'd find it fairly difficult to argue he was anything other than sh!t for them tbh.curates_egg wrote:That's one version of events. Mad Dog's impression of himself seems to be slightly different to most people's though alright.

I believe the Bordeaux players would have been surprised to see him at some of their training sessions last year, even more surprised to see him at matches.LeinsterLeader wrote:Anybody know why Raphaël Ibañez was at training?

I only saw a couple of games (and attended one) but he wasn't bad in them. He then got injured and fell out with the management, criticising conditioning etc and didn't really get selected after that...is the version of events I read, but I guess you have to pick some version of events to believe.wixfjord wrote:Mad Dog's impression of himself seems to be slightly different to most people's though alright.
To be fair though, he was following well-trodden ground if he was "sh!t". J10 - a clearly better player - possibly under-performed on a bigger relative scale.
I think, versions of events about Madigan aside, the version of events about Ibanez was pretty widely spread...and - as such, and if true - I would really hope his being there today was some weird coincidence...which is the slightly less off-topic point I was trying to make before you seemed to get triggered...for whatever reason only you will know.
