Might see Mr Lowe play a few games at 15, starting next weekend.

I'd actually already forgotten about himwixfjord wrote:Might see Mr Lowe play a few games at 15, starting next weekend.
Between him and Bob and Isa, Isa, Isa, we should be ok.
Shame for Carbery. Thought he gave a good (and typical) account of himself.
Probably won't get to play outhalf again until he comes off the bench in the 6 Nations: what an odd state of affairs.

Henshaw has a hamstring injury. No word on how bad yet.

Lowe still not listed in the European squad http://www.epcrugby.com/matchcentre/lei ... ?section=3
Hopefully, no Isa-type issues.

Possibly not available until the next European squad refresh? Does that happen after round 4 or round 6?curates_egg wrote:Lowe still not listed in the European squad http://www.epcrugby.com/matchcentre/lei ... ?section=3

Re: Leinster European Squad 2017/2018
He can be included before Round 3. Need to remove one player from the squad before he can be added, so no point in doing that until the deadline for registering in case someone picks up a long-term injury in the meantime. Pretty sure the deadline is the Tuesday before the game (5th December)jimbobjoe wrote:Possibly not available until the next European squad refresh? Second back to injure a hamstring in Ireland training: https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/rugby/ ... -1.3302630molloyjh wrote:Henshaw has a hamstring injury. No word on how bad yet.
Hopefully not as bad as Earls. Henshaw has been on real form.

Cool, thanks Cormac. You'd imagine Carbury will be taken out then provided he can be reinstated later on (for Marsh maybe).cormac wrote:He can be included before Round 3. Any player removed from the squad can only be added back after the group stages, so would depend on the timetable for Joey's return.

Can Ulster register Joey then or will he be cup tied?

If they did force Leinster to shoot themselves in the foot lend him to Ulster I'd rather hope he was cup tied.

With that pack they're not getting out of the group stages.fourthirtythree wrote:If they did force Leinster to shoot themselves in the foot lend him to Ulster I'd rather hope he was cup tied.
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014

Indo reporting Grade 3 hamstring strain for Ruddock. 3-6 months. That's a kick in the nuts for a lad who has had more than his share of injuries.

Discussed on other threads but it is a real shame.the spoofer wrote:Indo reporting Grade 3 hamstring strain for Ruddock. 3-6 months. That's a kick in the nuts for a lad who has had more than his share of injuries.
The relevance for this thread is that, if it really is that bad, it would probably make sense to replace him from our squad. Lowe or Nagle?

Might depend on how close Heaslip is to a return to action.curates_egg wrote:Discussed on other threads but it is a real shame.the spoofer wrote:Indo reporting Grade 3 hamstring strain for Ruddock. 3-6 months. That's a kick in the nuts for a lad who has had more than his share of injuries.

Re: Leinster European Squad 2017/2018
Expect Leavy to replace Rhys on Saturday and Nagle or Josh Murphy to go on our EPCR registrar.
Re: Leinster European Squad 2017/2018
Even with Ruddock injured, we still have six fit back-rows plus Fardy as an option so there's absolutely zero need to register another back-row. We also have four fit second rows plus Molony back in training this week so zero need for Nagle to be registered either.Ruckedtobits wrote:Expect Leavy to replace Rhys on Saturday and Nagle or Josh Murphy to go on our EPCR registrar.
Unless we have a serious injury crisis in the next few weeks the only players likely to be added to the squad before the group stages end are James Lowe or Jamie Heaslip.

Leinster register James Lowe for Europe ahead of Saturday showdown with Exeter Chiefs......
Re: Leinster European Squad 2017/2018
Great to see Lowe in, don’t think we’ll see him this weekend though, unless JGP or Fardy are injured.

Who does he replace? The squad hasn't been updated yet online.brotheroffrank wrote:Leinster register James Lowe for Europe ahead of Saturday showdown with Exeter Chiefs......
EDIT: I see the Indo are saying he is taking Rhys place.
When I suggested that, I wasn't really thinking it would happen. That is gutting, as it means Rhys' injury really is long term.
