You’d think “get into the changing rooms and regroup”. Nope, not this team. Having a go at them and coming away with 3 points was huge. The term championship minutes gets a bit of use these days but that really was a great example of it.

Also, I heart Scott Fardy.
That was insanely clever play I thought. The intensity from Exeter lessened considerably as they saw the clock tick away to half time and probably had the changing room in mind.

Leinster played keep ball and crucially ran down the yellow to the point we were able to start the second half with 15 players as we ran the clock up to 44 mins or so

A word for Ferg and his old school dump tackle. Rarely seen anymore with the spear tackle ruling, but that was mouthwatering technique and a proper good hit

What a hit. The only thing missing was The People's Elbow right afterwards.

Obviously dropping the elbow on a prone player on the ground?

I have no doubt in my mind he would have gotten away with it given how the officials were on Saturday!

The Clongowes Mafia would be a great idea for a wrestling faction!

AFAIK the citing window for euro cup games is kick off time + 50 hours, http://www.epcrugby.com/discipline/procedures.php
If so then Healy should have escaped being cited or do they contact the players\club before announcing any citings?

Indo saying he will be cited: https://www.independent.ie/sport/rugby/ ... 20113.html
Which he should have no problem with.
However, if their front row who flying head-butted Healy is not cited, then it compounds the problem of the one-side reffing of the rucks on Saturday.

Hopefully he doesn't miss the final rounds of europe, but he does deserve punishment.

Exeter number 4 here with a flying head-butt on Healy at the ruck. Healy gets up dazed after it.
https://youtu.be/geANSyPzaqg?t=2870

Was amazed none of the officials saw it; the TMO said nothing; and none of the players appealed - which is of massive credit to Healy himself, but maybe he was too dazed.
Far, far, far more dangerous than Healy's stupid play.
Healy should have no problem with being banned (3-4 weeks, all things considered) but, if this gouger isn't banned, it compounds the double standards.

It's a huge shame that Healy, in such good form, reverts to type and does something stupid.

We could really do with him for Mont away in particular. Hopefully it's just 3 weeks.

Healy was stupid. The officials were very very poor in that match.

A really tight game as predicted by many.
Exeter are a serious team
Watched the replay last night and didn't realise the bias of BT until one if the lads mentioned it.
Thank god for BOD was there to give a blue side, which he did in spades
Once a blue always a blue.
Was really impressed with the fervour and leadership of Isa and Rob in particular. He really was vocal and aggressive.
More of the same lads and we could be on the way to Bilbao

I'll guess 3 weeks, which wouldn't be the end of the world.

Nope, we have plenty of options and will give McGrath a chance to prove again his right to the position. Really stupid from Church, there was literally nothing to be gained from what he did and it was at a critical time in the game for us - really don't think we'd have won had he seen red.
Flash ahhhh ahhh, he'll save every one of us
