Now that's not what you said was it Curates?

There is a chance all of our players won't be returned fit to Leinster.

There is not a chance that we'll be told to 'rest' players for a Euro QF.

Yeah. Him and Ferg.
So all of a sudden J10's not worth his salt as a kicker? He's not the kind of guy to let these bad stints last too long you know.

IMO, his kicking tends to go awry when he's carrying a knock.

I certainly meant precisely the same thing with both those statements: Ireland have no problem playing an injured Sexton (again yesterday), but we would not be "allowed" play him if he still has the injury.
I'm not in favour of players playing through injury by the way: if he's injured while with Ireland, then he shouldn't be playing 70 minutes and making it potentially worse.
The flipside is the Premiership, where the RFU couldn't instruct - say - Saracens not to play Farrell if he had an injury.
Again, I'm not saying we should play players injured.

I thought Sexton was class with the ball yesterday but clearly had some issue that was affecting his kicking: shanked almost everything. Lower back or hamstring I guess.
Given how good Scotland looked yesterday, there's no way he will be rested to allow that issue to recede.

Porter very impressive yesterday. Doesn't seem to do much wrong and is some specimen. Mako-George will be a step up again but it is great to see young players stepping up when asked.

Pretty strong (for this time of year) Saracens were beaten 20-28 by Leicester at home today. Didn't see it but apparently they were destroyed in the first half. Only a lat rally brought respectability to the score.

Maybe we could ask MOC to join us for the game and give us tips on how Leicester beat them?

Ha!
I still have a vivid image in my mind of him assaulting Rob Hawkins, literally deliberately breaking his arm by levering it backwards. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxfOcZrxuHU
One of the more egregious acts I have seen live in rugby, which should have earned him a lifetime ban, in my opinion.
A small bit of karma I guess.

Theres a good youtube clip of him going out of his way to get sent off in an u20s game against NZ, including repeatedly charging a maul with his head, think it was an Irish ref that sent him off too

So with Clark out and Billy V potentially out the Saracens back row would be:

8: Jackson Wray
7: Michael Rohodes
6: Schalck Burger

Billy V being out would be a huge blow.

Think those 3 are all flankers really, though Jones is a big fan of Rhodes and cant wait for him to EQ

Sweet baby jeebus but I hate Burger

Garces as ref.

Delighted with that. Best out there in my opinion.
