Mockers be damned, if the BP is wrapped up with 30mins to go and the France Italy game is competitive I'm going to the hoshow.
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014
England A 8 - 14 Ireland A, 25th Jan 2014 Ruddock(c) 19/2 Tackles

It could well be wrapped up long before that
The ARs haven't even fully togged out. Still wearing tracksuits.

He, and all the other kids put in a good evenings work.
Jeez though, McCarty and Frawley look so comfortable at this level, like they have a bag load of starts already.
As heartening as it was (I had McCarthy as MOTM for what it's worth) everything has to be tempered by how poor the opposition were. It was a good hit out where we picked up no injuries. Happy Days.
The sport that unites Catholic, Protestant and dissenter has had its day of days. Pity anybody who can't enjoy it. Some day.

That was enjoyable.
Despite the score, I was more interested more impressed by the Kings systems and individual commitment that I expected to be.
They were poor, but they weren’t entirely cr@p and kept playing. They’re not a rabble.
McCarthy was very good. His excellence, combined with the unfortunate Jamison’s apparent injury, opens up the prospect of playing him- and thus Lowe and Fardy against Scarlets. Freaky was good too.

Weird few minutes leading up to the SK try when the restart wasn't caught and they mauled over the line very easily. Otherwise a turkey shoot obviously. Larmour trying a little too hard maybe, and J Lo, much as I love him, has to stop throwing the ball away. Frawley looking really good and plays with great confidence, I'm looking forward to seeing him get a start at 10 against a proper team.
The Kings really were dreadful. The fullback's attempts to tackle Daly as he went over in the corner and Frawley on the line were embarrassing, it was like he was only used to playing TAG.
I was impressed with how we stuck to our plan and executed the basics though. In a strange way, maybe having two young halfbacks helped because they would maybe have been more conscious of maintaining their focus. They were both excellent, Frawley never struck me as a confident guy for the 20's but he oozes it now.
Not much else to report but Bryan Byrne is in really good form now, think he's looked good for the last few months or so and hope he keeps it up. Deegan was everywhere and showed his full range of talents, really excited about how good he can be. Thought Connors went well too.
