That is disgraceful from TMO. No way that try should've been awarded.

Ah well, we march on. See ye next season Munster.

Almost unbearable to watch at times, very tense at the end. I thought Munster were going to do it. Awarding of the try was very dubious but it doesn't matter now. Fardy made an enormous impact off the bench, some huge hits. Tracy and Porter did very well too. Scarlets will be stronger than in the Euro semi next week, and we'll be weaker. But this is a chance at history. It always grated with me that Toulon, Saracens and that disgusting Leicester team of the early 2000s managed to pull off the double and we threw it away twice.

Really not surprised, this is the joker that tried to influence the ref there was nothing to see over the flying headbut.

He's becoming a big leader in this side.

Does the right thing almost all the time and looks so unflustered on the ball.

Our 15 and 14 today have a long way to go in those stakes.

Delighted for Ross Byrne, who turned in a performance that he hasn't since around Xmas time. Some lovely handling.

We really need Johnny, Leavy, Fardy and RK back next week though.

Quite agree - mixed bag of a season all round for joey. Obviously needs to get his position sorted but its kind of getting to the stage
where he is, dare I say, living on past glories.

Of the back three, Lowe was the worst by a country mile.
He was a disaster in defence.
Came in off his wing and missed too many tackles.
Whoever gave him mom had as bad a day, at the office, as the TMO.
Ross Byrne was Ross Byrne and nothing more.
Ringrose carried the back line, Isa included (had to be injured)
Once again James Ryan imposed himself on the forward battle.
We tired near the end but so did they.

Utter nonsense 're Lowe. Was at heart of everything good we did. Not many players could ride the tackle then switch the ball from left to right hand whilst going to ground before off loading a perfectly waited pass than our kiwi! Thought him and nordi has cracking games!

Can’t see why anyone is surprised at how TMO did today... when Neil Paterson was a ref , he was dreadful , so just continuing it through to his latest blight on our game

Thay was not a great game of rugby, skills wise. But we won and are in another final.
We were off the boil and slow to react, last week was certainly hanging over this team.
We started off well but I think we got dragged down to Munster level.
Lowe played well, skinning Zebo twice in the one attack and that offload, super.
Byrne had a better game that I expected.
We're in the Final!
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

Luke McGrath is more than likely playing with a injury. But some of his kicking absolutely stank today. One bad kick lead to a Munster try.

You can laugh and sneer all you like mate but nobody in the section of the crowd where I was, were amused or entertained by Lowe's defensive frailty.

Yeah good in attack abd equally poor in defence.
Just not acceptable.
If you like the flash then good for you but in my book defence is just as important maybe even more so.
Frankly I'm disappointed that Lowe has shown no improvement in defence and gets a free pass on it all the time.

Thats balls OS, he plays brilliantly outside Ringer. Did not see the frailties today either. He was superb in defence V Saracens which puts paid to your comment RE: no improvement. He has improved, I would concede that he takes on too much when he doesn't trust his OC.

A recurring theme of today’s game, was many players answering their critics. I was delighted to see how certain individuals performed, and proved a point about certain aspects of their game.

Jack McGrath was one of them, who put in a strong shift and displayed some deft hands to set put Lowe through the gal for Conan’s try.

Conan himself provided another very good performance, getting through a load of tackles and making huge metres on his carries. It was nice to see him at his rampaging best.

I also thought Ross Byrne looked like he has returned to some excellent form. His hands were very sharp and he looked more mobile than he usually does, which many people have berated in the past.

I also felt we had a plenty of encouraging performances off the bench. Tracy put his poor form behind him with a crucial turnover and some big carries. O’Loughlin also won an important turnover and made various tackles which required some pretty accurate technique, which both surprised and impressed me. Probably my favourite of them all though, was Porter’s scrummaging brilliance. To think he only took up this position about 1 year ago, and today he was winning penalties against an international loosehead in Kilcoyne. He won 2 penalties, in fact, capping off a remarkable positional transition.

Otherwise, it was good performance although, I thought some players looked tired ( Furlong, Murphy, Ryan and others). It was a great game to watch, although I could do with a slightly less dramatic finish, for the sake of the heart!
