Thanks to @mildlyinterested for all the coverage of this Tournament over the past week. Sounds like it will become a not-to-be-missed week for anybody interested in the future of the game in Ireland. Well done Connacht

Yeah, I wonder will it always be based in Limerick or might UCD get in next year.

Hopefully IRFU post some highlights from it, because we know leinster won't.

Bizzareley enough UCD's all weather is not up to the required standard to host the competition. UL have invested well and more recently than UCD in Rugby. Hopefully they are going to upgrade their current all weather soon

Does it have to be an all weather pitch? UCD Bowl is pretty good

Would love if the senior team followed the example of the kids this season and wore white shorts instead of blue with the home jersey

He isn't an ex-wing.
He moved to 15 for Belvedere’s ‘16 & ‘17 senior cup runs, you consider him an ex full back?

Either way, I’m also interested in the answer to the actual question if anyone has any insight.

I consider him a scrumhalf who has experience playing 15, certainly isn't an ex-wing.

He has played some senior rugby for Clontarf, but needs more game time at the position at that level to develop. He is a good prospect at 9.

Scott Penny is a bit of a unit. I havn't seen him play and thought he'd be more in the mould of his older brother, who was on an outstanding Leinster Schools side with Ross Byrne, Nick McCarthy, Timoney, Dardis, Ollie Jager, Loughman etc. I think the brother's name was Alex Penny - he was taller and had a more spare frame. Very good lineout player and good all round No6. The kid looks like Sam Cane!

I saw some underage highlights of a game last year. He stood out by a mile, putting in big hits, big carries and looks an elite level athlete.

Not sure about the quality of the opposition but I was blown away at the time by his performance in this game (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9sTfmPo2Rs0). Skip to roughly 17 and a half minutes for one of the best tackles you'll see on any rugby pitch.
