Good interview with Peter Sullivan: https://www.the42.ie/peter-sullivan-lan ... 0-Apr2019/
Agreed. It's a real come and get me for any of the provinces to take a chance on him. Also he ticks all the boxes for Munster to sign him.

Ex-Leinster player.

That is all.
More like Larmour to Munster, Sullivan to Leinster.

It is for the national team after all.

Super player and a good lad who's proving out his case scoring tries for fun in the AIL. Played 12 at school with Larmour outside him at 13, the 2 were exceptionally good. Love the way he's reinvented himself and how hard he works. Hoping he get a second chance, he's a big unit with gas so hopinh he gets back in the frame with us or another province.
Flash ahhhh ahhh, he'll save every one of us

Odd that he wasn't added to the matchday squad. We ended up with Ed Byrne instead.

I guess because he was flying to the US the next day with the A team they didn't want to put him out there.

Im surprised they care about that. He would have been there in case someone got injured in addition.

It was probably a decision that Ed Byrne is fairly dynamic and knows the systems/calls/patterns. Aside from 1 scrum he was a useful option to have for defending on our line.

Props usually make decent 2nd rows in scrums if they can get their feet right. I was surprised he didnt line up there. I think 8 was right for where it was on the pitch as opposed to either flank.

LH Prop: Jack Boyle(St. Michaels College) - U17

A starter last season at loosehead for St. Michaels while in 4th year, the 16 year old loosehead prop has been a star in St. Michaels this season especially for his bally carrying in the final. The former JCT number 8, helped lead Michaels to their 3rd SCT title this season and he will return for his final season next year.
Show Spoiler:
Image
Hooker: Lee Barron(St. Michaels College)

A starter last season at hooker for St. Michaels while in 4th year, he was a key member of St. Michaels SCT winning season, despite going off with a shoulder injury in the final. Luckily it appears he has recovered for Ireland schools where he will hope to impress even further, before returning for his final season with St. Michaels.
Show Spoiler:
Image
Lock: Alex Soroka(Belvedere College)

After having his season cut short last year with a shoulder injury, the big lock/number 8 was the driving force behind a strong Belvedere pack in his final season playing schools rugby. His future likely lies at lock at U20 and professional level, will he be able to push for Irish under-20 honours next season? Or a leinster academy place?
Show Spoiler:
Image
Backrow: Will Hickey(St. Michaels College)

The versatile backrow has experience playing 6, 7 and 8 for St. Michaels, this season he focused primarily on number 8 and possibly had his best game of the season in the SCT final. Returns to St. Michaels next season.
Show Spoiler:
Image
Scrumhalf: Ben Murphy(Pres Bray)

Murphy, the son of irish skills coach Richie, is back for his second season at this level. The diminutive scrumhalf will hope to push his case for a potential academy place next season while playing for Ireland over easter.
Show Spoiler:
Image
Centre: Karl Martin(Boyne RFC) - U17

Martin, who has the rare claim of playing for Ireland u18 as a under-16 last season, returns in the centre, capable of playing inside or outside centre. The sky is the limit for this club player who returns to school next season.
Show Spoiler:
Image
Outside Back: Chris Cosgrave(St. Michaels College)

Cosgrave, returns for his second season at this level where he has featured more at fullback than his natural outside centre. The goal kicking versatile back, had a queiter than expected cup with ball in hand, mostly due to Michaels less ambitious gameplan. Returns to St. Michaels next season.
Show Spoiler:
Image
Outside Back: Jamie Osborne(Naas RFC)

The final leinster player in the the Ireland u18 squad, starred during the interpros for Leinster u18 scoring 5 tries from fullback. The versatile back has experience playing throughout the backline for his school and club and returns next season to both.

Fionn Finlay player at tight-head during SCT. Has he been picked at LH for Ireland 19s?

Heard that Jonarhan Fish and Robbie Gilsenan were also slated for that squad but haven’t recovered from injury in time.

Ireland 18s hooker, Barron is almost certainly carrying an injury into their tournament. He picked up a bad shoulder injury in the first round of cup and it dogged him right through including during the final.

My sky box is acting up and only recorded the second half of that game but there's a lot of talent in that Irish side, some really shitty mistakes cost them.

Saw Martin play a while back and he was freakishly good. He was 12 that day and ran the show, couldn't believe he was so young, you'd have sworn he was way older than everyone else. He made ground every single time he got the ball, and even when he wasn't making huge metres he was still winning the collision and freeing his hands for the offload, reminded me a lot of Jauzion, and made everything look so easy. Thought he was slightly wasted at 13 on Saturday but looked good every time he got the ball.

Cosgrave is very talented but his defence was really poor, needs to be far more aggressive and use his shoulders when tackling. He waved players past him a couple of times and when he did tackle he was very "grabby" and let them eek out easy yards.
