Pre Season Matchday Programmes

Post by RugbyAddict123 »

Hi Guys. Firstly, from a Saracens fan, congratulations on both of your trophy wins last season. Your performance against us at the Aviva proved to me that you are worthy winners :happy clapper:

I am due to to going to the Newcastle Falcons game on 17th of August.

Does anyone know if the Club/Province issues a match-day programme during pre-season?

Thank you!

On the pre-season programme the best you are likely to get is a team listing and I'm not sure we even had that last year.
Summer is ready when you are

Thank you, Saracens were formidable opponents, congratulation's on wining the AP.

The match day programme for a pre-season game is a little hit and miss, sometimes its a single sheet with the team, other times its a booklet full of adverts and the team sheet.

Team sheets not worth much for pre-season as there tends to be lots of changes

see below from one game last year.

Also you wont see any front line internationals unless they are coming back from injury and didnt tour last summer. Likely to be a good few academy lads involved

I don't go to see front line internationals, I go to see the up and coming prospects. So that's not a negative for some people.

Possibly a negative for a person from outside Ireland who is not a fan of either team but (I am presuming here) probably over here for another reason and fancies a game of rugby while he's here.
