All 3 of them were released by Leinster AFAIK. So we can't go blaming the big bad IRFU on it.

Absolutely shocking scenes here.

My and the guys (one of which represented several teams at J4 level) really thought he let himself and the team down here. Having the audacity to shake hands with the opposition rather than do laps and burpees
He's gotten awfully fond of that brick

At the start of the season I'd have taken 6 points from 2 away games in Wales, especially with one being Scarlets and the other being Cardiff who finished last season like a steamroller.

The ref was very frustrating, but I believe good teams over come some how.

At the start of the season I'd also have taken the form we are in, Leinster do not start quickly due to the complex game we play. What does bother me a little are lack lustre starts to both halves, Cardiff was the same, Scarlets no different. But we'll sort it.

Fair enough. But not sure any of them showed the skills they later developed. (Esp Beirne) Thornbury (Or Beirne) did 4 years in Academy due to injury. Looks like they have a few more prospects coming through now behind Ryan.

You can't keep them all happy.

No openside probably a factor.
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014

“To be honest with you, that’s probably the mindset of a smaller club,” said Conan. “That’s not a good enough excuse here, to say, ‘Ah, I haven’t played in a few months. I was this, I was that.’

“We walked off the pitch after losing and it felt like we had gone back a few years to where we were losing semi-finals. It didn’t feel like the first game of the year. It felt like as important as any other game.

“It was a massive loss and the lads were hugely disheartened, considering the position we were in at half-time. Yeah, lads were rusty and it showed but that is no excuse for us. We have to be better.”
Jack Conan on Scarlets.

The more I hear this guy the more I like him. No bullshit.
