Mauled them another 30 before getting a peno for offside. Kicked for corner. Nearly mauled over but crosskicked and winger tripped going for it

Final score was 57-10 btw. Scrum apart, we bullied them up front. A nice turn of pace from Ronan Kelleher for the fourth try. Beat their fly-half on the outside before putting Patterson through for an easy try.

Ah. OK. So away to the scarlets next week. Let's see if they have the depth for it.

Us playing Mick Kearney and Ian Nagle in it was a big difference I'd say. Say what you want about them at higher levels but they are serious players at this level.

He did fine but it was a game where the pack did most of the damage. He picked up a knock just before half-time (as did Scott Penny in the same phase of play) and both didn't appear for the second half.

was the opposition a senior (age wise) team or did they look like they had a largely U20 / U21 team like ours?
Never argue with an idiot. Someone looking on may not be able tell the difference

Obviously the game was well in hand by this stage but how did Hawkshaw play?

Reid at 10. Good idea to give him the practice.

I was happily surprised how well he did when he came on for last 10 minutes against dragons at outhalf. Granted poor opposition but good to see him getting game time
