Obviously the game was well in hand by this stage but how did Hawkshaw play?
Just noticed this. He looked assured and calm. Game well gone by then and a lot of focus on the scrum from them. So not a lot for him to do.

He missed the last conversion. Looked like it went over to me so must have been close.

Like to see more of him on Friday.

As MI's analysis shows there's definitely a big opportunity for him this year.

I suspected they'd give Frawley an A game to get back to speed alright.

DK and Adam Byrne on the bench presumably means Larmour, Ferg, Lowe and Kearney sharing back 3 and 23 shirts. Larmour picked up a decent chunk of minutes so far though and you'd assume he'll be needed for Europe.

Might we be seeing Tomane at 23 and Henshaw or Ringrose start?
He's gotten awfully fond of that brick

Interesting stuff. I wonder will we have Jack McGrath back? Nick McCarthy and Reid to bench for senior side too maybe? Surprised DK drops down, thought he'd start on Sat!

Not sure we will see Jack until next week. Given Church was out on media duties he will definitely be involved

Adam Byrne will struggle to get out of the 'A' side this year I feel, DK will also be disappointed in being dropped I reckon.

Interesting that the centres have switched from last time out (assuming both teamsheets were/are correct?)

Clarkson must be motoring along nicely if he's in ahead of Abdaladze

Well last week Vakh started and played the whole game ahead of Clarkson, so I think it's much more likely that they are rotating him to expose him to this level.

Aungier must be injured.

No doubt they'll be disappointed, they're both capped players. But both of them are good pros and hard workers who won't sulk. There's no upside in feeling sorry for yourself, or thinking you're better than playing in Donnybrook ... but there's a big upside in showing how much you want the ball, in showing that you're too good for this level and in bagging yourself a couple of tries!
