Racing get the win an BP, well played by the Scarlets though.
So writing is on the wall, looks like baring an upset during the Exeter Munster game.
.

Club 1 v Club 8 (QF1) = Saracens v Toulouse
Club 4 v Club 5 (QF2) = Edinburgh v Munster
Club 3 v Club 6 (QF3) = Leinster v Ulster
Club 2 v Club 7 (QF4) = Racing v Glasgow

Yeah caught that one late lol, Was just thinking and can add another note. Toulouse could play Racing with a win tomorrow and Glasgow could end up with the Saris again.

Looks like Connacht qualied in 6th place with 22 pts and should face Worcester in away q//f.

Superb performatnce coming back from 27-19 behind in last quarter with the arrival of Jack Carty from the bench and he added converts also.

Both Ulster and Connacht deserve big kudos for their wins.

Club 3 v Club 6 (QF3) = Leinster v Ulster
Club 2 v Club 7 (QF4) = Racing v Glasgow
Predicted final positions
Saracens 28
Racing 26
Leinster (25)
Edinburgh 25
Munster 21 - updated
Toulouse (22)
Ulster 22 - updated
Glasgow 19
The points in brackets are predictions and likely outcomes.
IE
Munster any kind of win
Leinster TBP win
Toulouse TBP win
Toulouse could play it cute and opt for a win only and a QF away to Racing which would give a Leinster v Ulster QF.

So -
Saracens v Glasgow
Racing v Ulster
Leinster v Toulouse
Edinburgh v Munster

Both had to come from behind in what looked unlikely positions.

As it stands going into tomorrow:
Club 1 v Club 8 (QF1) = Saracens v Toulouse
Club 4 v Club 5 (QF2) = Edinburgh v Munster
Club 3 v Club 6 (QF3) = Leinster v Glasgow
Club 2 v Club 7 (QF4) = Racing v Ulster

Projected with Leinster win and Toulouse BP win

Club 1 v Club 8 (QF1) = Saracens v Glasgow
Club 4 v Club 5 (QF2) = Edinburgh v Munster
Club 3 v Club 6 (QF3) = Leinster v Toulouse
Club 2 v Club 7 (QF4) = Racing v Ulster

Semi:
QF1 v QF2
QF3 v QF4
(Highest seed has home country advantage)

Toulouse could decide to win without a bp.
That would make Ulster 6th seeds and Toulouse 7th seeds.
An away game against Racing, win it and you get a home SF???

This would be nice! I think Toulouse would have a better chance than Ulster to go to Paris for a win, which would give us a better chance at a home semi

Thanks for clarifying that, it removes the chance for tesms to mess around, although Toulouse could still opt for a QF v Racing.
If the draw ends up as you suggest I reckon all the home teams will win.
Toulouse's best chance of a SF would be an away QF against Racing.

Yeah I think they changed it recently to stop exactly that happening here is what they state, "The semi-final matches will be played at venues designated by EPCR, and the highest-ranked clubs from the pool stage will have home country advantage in their respective semi-final matches"

I would prefer Toulouse to end up playing Racing instead of Ulster going to Paris in the QF. Toulouse have a better chance of beating Racing IMO. Plus I'm seriously rooting for this to happen as I'm home in Dublin the weekend of the Semis from Canada. I would love to go to the Aviva on this trip!

If the predictions are correct, there will be two QFs involving teams which have already played each other twice in the Pool stages.

Does anyone think this detracts somewhat from the competition, and the rules should be tweaked to avoid this scenario?

It could go something like "In the event that the seedings produce one or more QFs involving teams from the same pool, the seedings of the three lowest-ranked sides will be adjusted so that no two teams from the same pool can meet again until the final"
