Spoken like a man who had a fair few backs run around him while pausing to do their hair.

I was rarely that close to the action. Normally "covering" the kick in the backfield so I didn't have to run to the next ruck.johng wrote:Spoken like a man who had a fair few backs run around him while pausing to do their hair.

Good god Rob Kearney is shocking as last man tackler. Twice he has tackled fresh air. If he does that next week then it's a 7 pointer at least.

Is there a sponsored silence tonight? Haven't heard a peep from the crowd? Kearney looks very rusty.
Re: Scarlets at home, 25/01 7.35pm
God this is a bad half of rugby.
If a 21 year old full back turned in the performance RK is he'd be flogged!
Hopefully it's just rust. He needs the games.
Our front five us doing very well, but not a huge amount else.
Doris looks very powerful.
WTF is up with Frawley's kicking from hand?

Will take 10-0 after that raggedy first half performance-geez we were all over the place at times. Good showing from Doris, Daly and ROL.....Frawley looks
erratic.
erratic.

Not sure if the wind is much stronger down on the pitch as frawley hasn't gained much territory when kicking out of hand. Rk looks well off the pace and the thought of him playing a full 80 next week at test level when he has barely played in 2 months doesn't ease my fears. Hopefully he has a good second half. Pack doing well although we have slipped off a few tackles and scrambled quite well. Vert strange game to watch thou. So quiet you can hear the players talking to each other non stop.
Re: Scarlets at home, 25/01 7.35pm
Doris looks like he has that extra power that Deegan might lack. Some very nice touches from him and a few tasty hits too.
COB looking good too, although he's not a man that likes to pass!

Need to score early, put this to bed...maybe then get some cohesion going as we are all over the place really
Few sloppy missed tackles, RK looks beyond rusty, not in my 23 v England I’m afraid
Front 5 going well bar Bent who’s a liability in Defence
Halfbacks look shaky

WTF was that. Absolute madness from Frawley, he has done that a few times.
Completely forcing it.

Rk is playing like a rookie. Amateur hour at that last ruck! Having a shocker tonight. Prob still start next week thou as he's a Schmidt favourite.

Might also be a bench spot for that knacker kilkoyne next week as Jack mc doesn't look fit. Well not for enough for a 6 nations match. Hughie struggled a bit tonight.

I thought HOS had a decent 50 but hoping JGP will take more control now

And thats what happens when you kick the ball away needlessly.

Taxi for Kearney. Jesus Christ he's having a shocker! Getting stepped by a back row like that is embarrassing for a guy with his experience.
Re: Scarlets at home, 25/01 7.35pm
That's Rob Kearney stepped by a back row there just in case anyone was wondering.
I'd say Jordan Larmour is loving this!

Doesn't matter as joe loves rk. Will say a lot about how much he rates larmour or Addison if rk starts next week as on tonight's showing he should be left back in Leinster training on his fitness.
