McFadden looks like he is back training fully going by training photos.

also looks like ex-Ireland u20 backrow David Aspil trained today with Leinster along with some sub-academy players.

Yeah he was on the sub-academy players I spotted. Suppose any under-20's are absent with Ireland so that removed Baird, Ryan and Deeny.

Scarlets will have Jake Ball available for their Pro14 trip to Leinster on Friday after he was released from the Wales squad.

Ball is the only member of Warren Gatland's Six Nations squad released ahead of Wales' opener against France on 1 February.

Looking forward to seeing more of Conor O'Brien, the return of James Lowe, Frawley at 10, Deegan/Doris in the backrow.

And maybe a debut or two, off the bench.

can't see both O'Sullivan & Frawley starting - assume it will be O'Sullivan / Reid or JGP/Frawley.
we'll know in an hour.

The Leinster Rugby team, as sponsored by Bank of Ireland, to take on the Scarlets in the Guinness PRO14 at the RDS Arena tomorrow evening has been named by Head Coach Leo Cullen (Kick Off: 7.35pm – live on eir Sport & TG4).

Cullen has seven Leinster Academy players in the 23 but has been able to recall a number of senior players from injury and suspension as well as handing a potential debut off the bench to Academy forward Jack Dunne.

Rob Kearney is back from injury to take his place as captain at full back with Barry Daly on the right wing and James Lowe back from suspension on the left.

In the centre Academy back Conor O’Brien and Rory O’Loughlin are again named together having also started against Connacht in the Christmas interpro.

Hugh O’Sullivan makes his first start for Leinster having made his European debut off the bench only last weekend against Wasps. O’Sullivan will have Skerries RFC man Ciarán Frawley outside him in the number ten jersey.

In the pack Jack McGrath, James Tracy and Michael Bent are the front row selected by Cullen with Ross Molony and Mick Kearney in the engine room.

The back row consists of Max Deegan, Scott Penny and Caelan Doris.

On the bench Leinster Academy forward Jack Dunne is in line to become the 1,276th Leinster player should he make an appearance at the RDS tomorrow.

Tickets for the game are still on sale HERE

Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014

Smart selection there imo. We don't really need to win this game but it will be a step above some of the stuff we'll be playing during the 6N, so getting HOS a start now seems a good idea. Backrow will have its work cut out but looks exciting.
We've a nice hard carrying backline outside Frawley who should take some pressure off him too.

Dan Davis is one to watch out for on Scarlets side. Should be a good battle between him and Penny.

Is Josh Murphy injured?

Shame Dan Leavy didn’t make tge 23 but great to see Deegan and Doris in the same side.we need to paint a picture of them playing together and at least one of them being a 6/8. That idiot who wrote an article about us having too many scrum halves the week before one got van grabbed keeps going on about us not being able to keep the 2 boys and Conan.

3 by the way, we had 3 senior scrum halves compared to Munsters 5 albeit one of the 5 is on the longest running short term contract ever

we have 1 healthy senior 9 and two 20 year olds.

It's odd Doris is the much more natural 6 to me, maybe they have him focusing on 1 position this season and will move him around as he gains more experience.

playing Deegan at 6 has its benefits as he needs to round out his game.

We had three seniors in the squad when the deal was announced was what I was saying, we’re in a much tighter spot now.
