In fairness most standout Heineken Cup-level 10s under 25 are better than Sexton at the corresponding age. Johnny was a late bloomer and being born in 1985 was one of the last to come through when academies were still fully professionalising in the mid-00s.

Honestly if an outhalf isn't better than Sexton was at the corresponding age they probably don't have a top level future.

Hastings , or any other player that doesn't pick their own kicking tee after missing a kick, seems like a dick.

This is a big game for Sexton.
If he has another poor performance then.......

Big day for everyone- but for the likes of Sexton, Healy, Cronin and Furlong particularly. Johnny for well-discussed reasons; the front row because the media here think that Fagerson and his mates have their number.

That shunt off our ball on the first scrum of the second half in the RDS fixture is being held up as a marker. And truth be told, I’ve been less confident of our lads this season that before. They all know Nigel well enough, let’s see who can get the right side of him early.

Rain expected in the afternoon, could be a lot of scrums.

The home advantage could quickly turn into extra pressure on the Warriors the longer the game goes on e.g. if they're not leading at half time and have not begun to pull away. Their fear of losing in Parkhead could help us. Just a thought.....

It was a little concerning that our scrum was under consistent pressure in the Saracens and Munster matches. We may not have the edge there today that many seemingly expect.

A good bit of rain around in Glasgow, which will suit us imo if scrum and lineout can function well.

In Celtic Park. I just saw my first Munster jersey. As you’d expect, he’s carrying a Glasgow flag. Luckily he’s in the first few rows and getting p1ssed on.

Maybe he'll try to banter Lowe and be put in his place by the fact that since the 09 H Cup semi-final, we've won eight trophies and they've won one, and in 25 games a head-to-head record of 19 wins to 6 in our favour...

Sexton has been awful. Robbie saving a try there with a huge tackle.

Nige reffing the occasion not the game. Clear yellow for any one reason of off the ball or a no arm tackle.

Cronin caused that not Johnny. Left Johnny's pass threw a bum lineout and tackle went through him for the try

Since he got that bang in the tackle (inflicted by Conan moving a glasgow leg), he missed the pen, sclarfed a clearance and then threw one on the deck.
