I think it was a penalty also but he let all the wrong things go so he could get to that decision in the last few phases. Weak ref is Adamson.

Really poor refereeing performance by Adamson and his ARs. Singularly biased throughout the 2nd half. Obstruction by winger for N'hampton try. Forward passes not seen for lasr N'hampton try and final penalty. Incompetence verging on worse.

The Northampton number 4 also acted as a dummy runner twice in that sequence in tight play taking out Treviso tacklers, if it was out the backs it would have been given as a penalty...or actually maybe not today

Too far back for a forward pass, think the rule is two phases. Different for foul play IIRC, you can go back as far as you need for that.
