I would have thought that James Tracy would make the squad, unless he's injured. Toner another possibility.

Bit inconsiderate of Rob to be out in Japan.

Would be a nice headline to have 3 different sets of brothers line out for us ha

Meant to type 4 and somehow came out with 3. Fair play to me

Looking forward to the big kick off next weekend. Quite a muted build up so far for obvious reasons.

Should be quite a few opportunities for guys to stake a claim for the Euro games coming up.

I would go for:

Byrne, Byrne, Bent, Fardy, Toner, Deegan, Connors, Doris, JGP, Byrne, DK, COB, ROL, Byrne, JOB
Dooley, Tracy, Vakh, Molony, Penny, HOS, Byrne, Kelleher

Crazy strong side with plenty of experience considering how many we have away.
And that side doesn't even include guys like Ferg, Tomane, Josh Murphy etc.

Benetton missing 15 players to the World Cup too. True, we're missing 14 but our depth is likely a lot better.

Scott's a hero, a real gent.

I always forgot how much of a late bloomer he was, can't really think of anyone else who has done similar, maybe Mike Ross?

Really happy to see Kelleher starting. It'd be very easy to go with more experience while others away but this is the perfect time to play him and whether it goes well or not I hope that he gets a lot of game time over the next month or so.

I'm guessing Ed Byrne is injured but Dooley is a guy who I also wanted to see getting more games. As a few of us said when Jack left, Dooley could be great if he just gets a run of games. I'd be worried about Milne if he has to come on with the game in the balance, not convinced that he's ready tbh.

Would prefer COB starting and Tomane covering a range of positions in the 23 jersey but you can't have everything.

Hope Dev has a stormer.
