So what? He was recently voted the best player in European Cup history after the turnipstanis piled in the votes. Those polls don't mean a thing.

Hate to admit but it is probably true considering BOD has only played 2 HEC cup matches this year. But, on second thoughts when he was playing we fockin hammered Bath. So, yes, BOD is the most influencial captain and that poll is an outrage. It has obliviously been sabataged by Turnipstans

I wouldnt see Foley as being that "inspirational" or "influential" as is being highlighted by the survey(even if its been hijacked).

With guys like O'Connell, Wallace, ROG etc. in the team, that have been in numerous HCup quater and semi finals, im sure they are not little babies that go looking for inspiartion form Axel...

...compared to Leinster, with a young back row, and relatively inexperienced come HCup knock-out. While our backs are experienced 6Nations wise and Lions wise, they still rely on their talisman BOD to provide a bit of genius when the chips are down e.g. Bourgoin away last year....

..therefore, BOD far more influential....

So am I. Come on, mate, that's the kind of abusive cr@p that gets posted on Munsterfans.com about us. Which we all found so offensive. We don't want or need it here.

I would say Foley IS the more influential captain. Shame he's a poor number 8.

A munster mate of mine keeps banging on about his amazing footballing brain. I have to keep reminding him that the brain is encased in 20 stone of lard.

He may have a great footballing brain., but does that make up for pedestrian pace....eh no!!!

Hopefully he can give some of this 'knowledge' to Denis Leamy who has.
