TB - your drums to big for cabin baggage?

Mine fits in a sports bag. . .wouldnt of thought yours would be bigger than some of the wheelie bag/suitcases that some people manage to take on board flights these days :?

my dimensions are 16'by 15' by 15', and the dimensions for cabin baggage with AL are 9'by 12' by 18' so its a non-runner-have to put the thing in a box with shedloads of paper coz i wouldnt trust ground handling crews with just the drum......

.....dont care really as long as it works for saturday..

fair enough. . .havn't mearsured mine but from memory yours is more deeper (and maybe a little wider). . .as I said mine fits in a sports carry bag, and as the flights not going to be full I should be OK.

Id see if you can take it on board. . only offer to put it in the hold if they insist on it.

yeah im goin to bring it with me loose to the airport, and see if they'll allow it onboard, and if not ill throw it in the box. its only marginally over the limit so might get away with it....
