Bernard Jackman has been named in the Clontarf side for Sunday. Looks like he ain't going to Toulouse!

Not enough top class game time I guess since he came back from injury. Ah well, the Blaneys will have to play out of their skin and make sure that their "primary" job on Saturday is immaculate - i.e. throw straight and hit their jumpers.

I think that is good news for us. Although Blaney isn't a great throwere, he is better than Jackman

Feel really sorry for Birch. Poor guy - things were going well at Connacht and in the Ireland squad, had a few nightmares with the throwing and now it's all gone belly up. At least his business seems to be doing well. To miss out on the Bath trip was a big blow to him, and now this. Oh well. Nice guys finish last I suppose.
