What bragging rights will be gained if Munster go out and win a low scoring affair by keeping the ball up the jumper? It would merely be a triumph for myopic fools who care more about oneupmanship against Leinster than they do about the game of rugby. It's unlikely to win them a final against BO either. I think Munster's blind pursuit of the H Cup - the philosophy to win no matter how bad the performance - is flawed. If they set out with the simple objective to play good rugby, ala C+K, then I'd warm to them a lot more.[/quote]
You play to your strenghts. If there in the pack thats how you play it. Back in the 80's / 90's when none of the provinces had decent backs everyone played a ten man game. Then you get a couple of world class backs and suddenly its down to your dedication to the open flowing game? When BOD, Horgan, Hickie and Darcy hang up there boots and you can no longer afford SH mercaneries to fill in your gaps at half back you will be back to playing the game like everyone else.

Sewa - you don't know much about Leinster rugby. From the schools game up, we use our backs.
