No printer; can stewards scan phone screen?

I'm looking to get an extra ticket on the Exchange, but have no easy access to a printer today.

Does anyone know (definitively) if the stewards can scan a barcode off a phone screen? I've seen this done elsewhere but don't know if LR can do it.

I've done it. Not this season though. Should be fine.

I know it's too late to this but I have a photo of my card on the phone & have had this scanned.

for Reference:

i have scanned off my phone
I have scanned off a photocopy of my seasonticket

BUT:

My guess would be they are under no obligation to do either

"Not officially, but you're grand" was the response I got off the short stubby guy when asked this question! The scanners scan fine, it's just down to procedure!

EDIT: The guy that's normally on Gate E, I mean.
