Ticketmaster Exchange

Post by Green »

Does anyone use this method of buying tickets?

I note that tickets that are sold in this way do not show up on ticketmaster's main site, rather just on the below link.
Is it just a means of Leinster fans selling to Leinster fans?

Nay way hai.

TicketBa$tard take half the money and only give you a credit note for the rest.

I'd rather sell it on here or anywhere else for half price or better.

I have used it one or twice before

it is useful because terrace tickets never go on general sale so it is the only place to buy them

Ticket master give you 70% of the average price, so if you pay €250 get 14 home games, it is €17.85 per ticket, even though face value might be €25 or €30. You get 70% (€12.50) for a ticket that ticketmaster will resell for €25

12.20 is still half of 25 no matter what you paid for it.

It's handy enough for both buyers and sellers, no f%~king around meeting people to give them/ collect the ticket etc.

The credit can be used against your season ticket renewal.

one man's foxking around meeting people is another man's socialising. :)

Also you get instant drinking vouchers no focking round waiting a year for half the money.

tbh. I would rather sell them for half price and give my fellow fan the benefit than that shower.

But hey. There is no right and wrong here just opinions and that's mine.

I think the fact that we have a range of options for disposing of tickets (print/Ticketexchange/email a PDF/personal arrangement via this forum/etc.) is great.
