I'd imagine the viewing figures would be minimal regardless. I'm just happy they're on TV at all.

I've just had a look at the Sky coverage for June and it looks like they aren't showing the Ireland games - at least there is no sky logo beside our games which I take as being non-coverage.

Rights for the rwc are way higher so JRFU probably just doing what suits them/ticket sales

Rwc will all be 8pm local time, well for tier1 of course

Agree But I imagine an Irish match directly after the Lions would have significantly more viewers than the current set up

Well surely it makes sense to trial run games at this time now for logistics etc.

Unless its a new ground or city dont think so. More a pain the backside if you cant record games like me :)
If its sky might even be the case they want a clear window around Lions games as thats where the money is for them with ad heavy buildups and an orgy of sponsorship

The youth of this squad represents a golden opportunity for a media outlet to use Kids in America to promote the test against the Eagles

Game in the USA is at 5pm local time so 10pm here on 10th June.

Two games in Japan kick off at 2pm and 2.40pm local time. They're 8 hours ahead of us so I make that 6am (17 June) and 6.40am (24 June).

It'll be a long haul with the Japan games the same day as the Lions - Maori and Second AB test.

Eir are the awkward b$&%@#ds for streaming aren't they? I can't get it on Sky go can I?

Well done Rhys, nice show of faith in him from Joe. Has had a great second half of the season.
Would a good captaincy performance here put him in the frame for Leinster captain next year too?

Think I'd have called up O'Brien and had Leavy as an openside. Reidy's a good player though - better than O'Donnell imo
