Ireland 2007, England 2014

Post by Twist »

Anyone else notice the similarities here?

An agonising defeat to France after a late try, they run in a bin load of tries in Rome and end up sweating on the TMO's decision in the French match which ultimately goes against them

Coincidence........or conspiracy???

And the italian intercept try in both seasons that cost the championship
...a beautiful weighted pass...it is 3 on 2...it is 3 on 1...Hickie!...Magnificent!

There is a great photograph doing the rounds (I saw it on the MF site) of the English squad in their evening ware getting pretty animated watching the Ireland - France match.
