You should start going to Munster matches so - always seems to be a small enough crowd at them

Nah, I'd like him to learn to play someday, wouldn't want to set a bad example.

First mention of duelling banjos gets a slap.

I would not be surprised by an Irish clean sweep.
That's a bold statement, Aus have really improved under McKenzie.
If we have a fully fit squad to pick from and a confident mid-field, we'll certainly be a test for them all.
Judging from the noises Joe has been making regarding the run up to the world cup he'll likely be a bit more experimental in these fixtures than we have been and with this in mind I wouldn't make that prediction. Given the world cup run in, I'm not too bothered about the result in this series to be honest.

I dont think selection will go too mental on Georgia or Argies as some guys in 23 like McGrath, Moore need more starts/experience before we get too into 3rd or 4th choicers

Agreed, Connor Murray and Paulie should just bite the bullet and sign up for Leinster.

When you go through it theres 11 positions in the first choice 23 up for grabs

Kearney v Payne for 15
Henshaw v Payne v Earls v Fitzgerald for 13
Earls v Luke v McFadden for 11/23
Darcy v Marshall for 12

Ryan v Toner for 4/19
Ferris v POM for 6/20
Strauss v Cronin for 16
Moore v Fitzpatrick for 18

We could be left with a backline with no Leinster players at all!

Yep. Henry cant be simply seen as a stand in for SOB anymore, he is an international class 7. SOB,Heaslip,Henry or Ferris,Heaslip,Henry would be probably the ideal BR with serious bench impact.

will have to disagree, fit and roaring SOB and Heaslip are starters beyond all reasonable doubt at 7 and 8
POM and Fez fighting over 6 shirt, if Fez doesnt get it he's the mother of all impact subs

we start Henry and SOB we're going with 2 fetchers and no great lineout option at 6
if Henry made bench over POM we're using SOB to cover 6 (see above) and 8 (ok)

I never can understand why some people seem to insist that you can turn either SOB of POM into a No 8 simply so they can replace Heaslip. There is absolutely no evidence to suggest either could be even close to as good as Heaslip in his position.

But POM played there once or twice this season.......

Absolutely. You know that, I know that, and most importantly the Leinster and Ireland coaches know it. (SOB only played 8 for Leinster during Jamie's sole bout of injury iirc)

Doesn't stop the Heaslip hating muppets from offering their opinions on it though.
