was unusual for Walsh to spend big chat with AWJ to explain rules/decision in such depth

hopefully citing commissioner will get stuck in
Thought AWJ was poor there. Maybe he was trying to distract Walsh from giving a yellow but he was insistent that Williams' hit didn't matter because Hendricks had already gone into touch when North tackled him.....emmmmm no Alun.
Walsh was a bit namby pamby with AWJ IMO

Williams is fast becoming a liability for Wales and only thing keeping him in squad (other than 1/2p's injury) is North and Cuthbert cannot play fullback, which is very rare for an international team's wings
Jordan Williams especially might steal a march on him

Samson Lee has been cited for a headbutt, no word on Williams

Twitter and the Welsh media going to town on the fact that if this was 1976 then the Williams in question would be JPR and he would be hailed as a hero for exactly the same tackle but instead it's 2014 and 'poor' Liam was hung out to dry by the ridiculous new rules which don't allow proper tackles!!

Well that was a real kick in the unmentionables

Yet again against a tri nations side we have grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory, To lose a 17 point lead and then lose a 13 point lead in the same game is unacceptable.

We really have to look at ourselves and wonder why we ended up 2 men binned (could and proably should have been 3) and coughed up 2 penalty trys, all were thoroughly deserved and my only gripe with walsh is that he missed 2 or 3 off sides in the last few minutes.

Liam Williams either doesn't know the rules or more likely is so intent on proving himself a hard man on the field he couldn't resist giving it the big macho shoulder charge, well all he had to do was tackle properly and help wales win the game. Have to say North attempted tackle was also pretty rubbish as well.

It's hard to keep trying to take the positives out of these narrow defeats, but Roberts gethin and lydiate all played their best game in years for wales and Cuthbert showed signs that he be more than just 1 dimensional finisher out wide.

Sampson lee and Josh Turnbull also come back with reputations enhanced and will add depth to our player pool, also AWJ has to remain as captain.

Surely one time in the near future we will get over the finish line in one of the games!

If it was 1976 Liam Williams would be unemployed

Think we can assume at this point he didnt get enough hugs as a child and has very small genitals

Lee got 5 weeks, 10 weeks halved for remorse, guilt and "youth". seriously, that was in the decision

It was a meatheaded decision, but if it was the first half and he went like that and blew the winger up and the same situation occurred I dont see the issue, you have to bully the opposition, especially if you have a winger in North who cant/wont tackle/has the turning circle of a tank, you need to make a guy think you are going to blow him up every time he gets the ball. Williams timing was wrong in that he killed his own team, no harm in killing the opposition, especially if they are a team like NZ, SA or any of the Pacific Islands, just have to do it early in the game. Plenty of times Ive told the ten to put it on twelve and just gone up and hammered him from kick off. No need to get sanctimonious about foul play, reminds me of all this Suarez nonsense tabloid witch hunting.

The point is he could have emptied him legally and got him into touch if he'd bothered to try good technique rather than just being foolish and looking for a cheap shot.

End of the day he cost his team the game for laziness and misplaced machismo.

yes, foul play is a good thing and the more a particular player does the same thing the less you care and the less he has a major problem and the less he hurts his team and the more penalty tries you give away and matches you lose the better

you realize a tank actually has a really good turning circle due to being able to have one track go forwards and the other go backwards...in fact they can spin in place.

looks like it came from some one who knows him class clown remark and the fact that there are about 1,000,000 Williams in wales so how on earth did they find his address?.

I don't agree with sending players hate mail (although this is hardly bullets in an envelope job) and this should not have happened or happen again.

but it's hard to argue with anyone who calls him a clown isn't it? :D
