Steve Hansen has been contracted by the All Blacks until the end of 2017 [another three years]. That's great news for us on one count – it massively decreases the likelihood of Joe Schmidt leaving the Irish job for the next three years – and potentially good news on another count, in that it will put a cork in the hopes of various talented NZ coaches [I'm looking at you, Dave Rennie] who might have had their hearts on a prospective national head coach position post-RWC15.
