Scrum, McGrath to JJ, cross kick to Conway, one step inside the fullback and one step to dot down

What is the point of this tournament? Full time pros from Ireland put up against amateurs/semi pros from the other 3 nations and no tv. Bring back the Churchill cup!

Winning votes to host the RWC in 2023.
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014
England A 8 - 14 Ireland A, 25th Jan 2014
Ruddock(c) 19/2 Tackles

Part of the IRFU's commitment to developing the game. I think our participation in tournaments like this is good for the sport but the "Emerging" thing is a bit pointless. We already have the senior team, the A team and the U20s.

There's an argument for sending an Irish Club XV made up of amateurs and academy players instead - similar to the sides we put out in the club internationals around the 6Ns.
We're all red on the inside.

Not sure why he's ahead of Cooney, but I'd reckon it's great for Luke McGrath's development to be getting games like this and the BaaBaas. We saw with Murray & Marmion what game time can do so hopefully he's improved for the start of the year.

Hope the squad are alright. Flash floods in Tbilisi yesterday killed eight people with 30 animals escaping from the local zoo.

On a serious note. I hope the guys are safe. I wonder if the rest of the games will go ahead considering what has happened.

Nice touch lads
A natural disaster involving loss of life and peoples homes and still you can ditch any humanitarian notions to slag off a Munster player.
