Argentina v Georgia.
This game could be very interesting.
Georgia having beaten Tonga, will have been emboldened to dream.
The scheduling of the match is perfect for them.
Argentina probably planned to rest players for this game.
Georgia are probably the toughest team to have to face in this situation
What may carry Argentina thru is the battle hardness that they'll have gained by playing against the SH big powers.
Any thoughts?

I'd prefer to meet Georgia than Argentina in a Quarter Final, don't think it could happen thoughOldschool wrote:This game could be very interesting.

Re: Argentina v Georgia.
Our seconds put a geansai load of points on Georgia less than a year ago. Argentina's seconds will fare just as well. Georgia are strong in the scrum and the pack.
Argentina's seconds are fearsome in the scrum and the pack. Their handling is excellent too right through the team.
Georgia to stay in touch for 60 but end up losing by 25

The draw has worked in their favour for this match.simonokeeffe wrote:Georgia have named an unchanged team/23 anyways
They already have a very good chance of finishing third, with guaranteed qualification for the next RWC.
They're going after second spot.
Over to you Argentina, watch out for that banana skin!

Yup theyre getting fairly stuck in, Georgia dont have any penetration in attack, Argies hold their nerve/discipline they hang on, but theyre not really doing that at present. All the scrums are wheeling like crazy but Georgia winning the penaltiesDonny B. wrote:Full blooded effort so far anyway

Re: Argentina v Georgia.
Argentina very sloppy and losing Hernandez could be huge. Don't think Georgia's handling is good enough to get them ahead though really. Plus I'd imagine JP Doyle will start being harsh on Georgia now after being harsh on Argentina in the first half. I really don't like him as a ref, telling players to use it when it's barely been secured is a joke.
Re: Argentina v Georgia.
Glad Argentina have been as dominant.
We now know whether it's NZ or Argentina we're in for a tough QF.

think we may see a citing on a Georgian forward (lock?) for a headbutt/dangerous clearout from just before they got within 5m of the Pumas line in the second half

The tall Georgian lad with the dark hair and the beard is pretty handy, think his name ends with an I or E.
