Surely not just a coincidence that we've avoided Barnes since the welsh game??

Still a big fan of Garces even though he does owe us for bottling the red against Argentina. Peyper has become absolutely dreadful, hard to know how that'll go. Poite in Twickenham is a disaster for us tbh. They'll get away with murder in the scrum and someone like Marler will end up looking world class.

Odd that we don't have Nigel at all.

Also, Joubert getting England - Wales after his disappearing act recently? That's a joke.

I dunno if we had Poite a couple of years ago in Twickenham we would have won as their scrum was a mess. If we get on top, we will win.

Glad to avoid Barnes who I just don't think should referee Ireland again. Not that he's a bad referee. He's just a bad little Englander.

Peyper can go both ways for us

If we're killing the ball on our own line to prevent a match winning try hes not not going to give us a yellow card

The one problem with Schmidtball is its heavily reliant on generating penalties (by going through the phases, using rucks to create offside lines) rather than try scoring opportunities from play, eg the Welsh game from last 6n

but not to turn this into another pound of Joes flesh thread, personnell changes alone dictate our game plan evolves
