Ross and Reddan (If applicable) the only central deals youd be certain won't be renewed
Moore, and J McGrath especially, one would imagine would be coming on them if they werent already (important positions, matchday certainty)

which would leave 15 plus

Marmion and one of Jackson or Madigan would have great shots so there arent just one scrumhalf and one outhalf on a central deal
Henshaw, Payne and if applicable maybe Ruddock will get central deals youd think

Cronin, McGrath and Moore do not have central contracts. Henshaw is in negotiations but in reality as Connacht are funded by IRFU, he is already on an IRFU direct contract. The sign that negotiations have begun wrre his comments 10 days ago.

McGrath may also be in negotiations and I think that Tommy B's contract is to 2017

Is Toner definite?

Cant see Cronin getting one now anyway if hes down to 3rd choice but would be mad not to give Jack and Marty central deals now

moot point but was Felix Jones on one?

I'll edit O.P

Says here 2018. Yep Henshaw and McGrath likely candidates. We will also be looking to re-sign the 7 that expire this season.

Moore has to be in line for one too otherwise there are no centrally contracted tightheads; Ross and Maybe White in their last seasons, Munster & Ulster have no one, Ah You is still Ah You

I think Payne may be in line ahead of Zebo for one too

Yeah agree on both Moore & Payne, Moore especially needs to be locked in tightheads of his calibre and age can get big money abroad if IRFU are careless with him but hopefully all in hand

according to Gerry in a preview to Bath game theres only 13 on central contracts, its not one of the Leinster players (he namechecks all of them), the Munster players seem to check out too so either he got his sums wrong or Rory best isn't on one

Fairly sure there are 14. Half of them in Leinster

the numbers ad up, but Gerry repeating that number on OTB

doesnt specify if IRFU reducing contribution to NIQs is down 150k overall or per province
does make good point about impact of massive reduction in number of central contracts on provinces finances

OK. If there are 13 and 7 of them Leinster then which of these is not on a central contract?

Rory Best
Conor Murray
Keith Earls
Donncha Ryan
Andrew Trimble
Tommy Bowe
Peter O'Mahony

If you have time to google them all with the word contract afterwards you could probably figure it out.

Is it O'Mahony ? I know one of the Munster players turned down the chance of a central contract.
Best signed new deal yesterday to take him up to 2018 and probably retirement.
Payne is on a central contract

Payne is on an Ulster contract until the end of the season. Unless he had his 3 year contract ripped up behind closed doors, and changed to central.

O'Mahony is in year one of a 3 year central same as Tommycakes.
