Ireland. Wales
522. Metres. 389
10 Turnovers won 6
86 Tackles. 127
12 Offloads. 6
8 Pens conceded. 11

The France Italy game is up on YouTube. Hard to know what to make of France because Italy were so poor. They scored one or two very good tries but most tries came from kicking to the corner and mauling over. Definitely a game Ireland can win.
Where did you get those, DK?

Kelvin Brown is unlucky not to make the starting team on the back of his performance off the bench. He was one-dimensional, but one-dimensionally good. McPhillips lucky to retain his spot at outhalf. I was very unimpressed with his attitude and effort in defense. We can probably expect France to field some athletic wonders in the backrow, and if they get a run at him early he'll have to prove his desire to make tackles and hold up his part in the defensive line.

Very happy to see Conor O'Brien in the team, an excellent player. Would have preferred to see Jimmy O'Brien at No10 with Conor in the centres.

Yep your're dead right, and Rolf Harris telling us how to behave in swimming pools.

But we should probably leave that one alone

Colossus Andrew Porter

Word on the grapevine is he is breaking all sorts of gym records.

“Yeah, well I wouldn’t be far off, really.”

And his best?

“Squats, 280kg.”

Interesting article on Andrew Porter. Maybe he should be looking at tighthead as Hugonaut suggested.

We'd only know if he spent a year or two there. Wouldn't be the first time an U20 changed position.

it's not going to happen.. Loughman who has been playing TH will move over fulltime to TH before Porter, who is viewed as a pure LH.

Then he'll probably have to move away from Leinster if Healy, McGrath, Dooley etc are staying.

Maybe let's see what happens.. loosehead is a deep position in most of the provinces. I doubt he will be moving anytime soon.

Connacht could well do with a loosehead
