Is this just the plastic paddy controversy writ large on an international stage? Most other countries, not being as popular as Ireland internationally , are unaccustomed to people adopting their culture for personal aggrandisement/advancement. I embrace the Irish diaspora even if they have a few embarrassing culturally inaccurate foibles, except for leprechaun enthusiasts, they can feck right off!!! *facepalm* http://www.leprechaunmuseum.ie/

English meeja currently click baiting themselves into a frenzy over Denny Solomona playing for them (or the Lions ) as he qualifies in a few weeks and they havent brought their own 5 year policy in yet
The smugness we can feel over the Stander et al bashing if they play a Kiwi who came to England to play league and only switched codes to avoid a doping ban

He'd be a proper mercenary too. He rejected playing league for England so the only added incentive is the (significant) cash bump.simonokeeffe wrote:English meeja currently click baiting themselves into a frenzy over Denny Solomona playing for them (or the Lions ) as he qualifies in a few weeks and they havent brought their own 5 year policy in yet
