Kimmage will say it's due to the success of his campaign!
Course it will be. That rambling piece he wrote about how he helped Stephen Roche to win a world championship made all the difference.
Didn't Roche threaten to sue Kimmage over drug use allegations?
Flash ahhhh ahhh, he'll save every one of us

Is this just the plastic paddy controversy writ large on an international stage? Most other countries, not being as popular as Ireland internationally :P , are unaccustomed to people adopting their culture for personal aggrandisement/advancement. I embrace the Irish diaspora even if they have a few embarrassing culturally inaccurate foibles, except for leprechaun enthusiasts, they can feck right off!!! *facepalm* http://www.leprechaunmuseum.ie/

English meeja currently click baiting themselves into a frenzy over Denny Solomona playing for them (or the Lions ) as he qualifies in a few weeks and they havent brought their own 5 year policy in yet

The smugness we can feel over the Stander et al bashing if they play a Kiwi who came to England to play league and only switched codes to avoid a doping ban

He'd be a proper mercenary too. He rejected playing league for England so the only added incentive is the (significant) cash bump.
