McGrath definetley unlucky rate him higher than both Connolly and Mulvihill as he covers both sides but powers that be think otherwise.

Don't know anything about them are they any good. Poor indictment on them to loose out to a lad who has only played one season out of the last 3 so far.
Re: Ireland Under 20 2017
neither have been involved at a national level until this season.Armchair wrote:Don't know anything about them are they any good. Poor indictment on them to loose out to a lad who has only played one season out of the last 3 so far.
Conor Maguire(Leinster) not being involved is a surprise, was ireland u19 hooker last year and is playing regularly for Old Wesley in 1B. Wasn't even involved with extended squad over christmas.
Re: Ireland Under 20 2017
Whatever happened to Jonny Guy (ex Andrews). He was Ireland u19s last year...injury?goreyguy wrote:
No natural 7 is somewhat surprising.

playing with UCD u20, wasn't involved with Leinster over the summer.El Diablo wrote:Whatever happened to Jonny Guy (ex Andrews). He was Ireland u19s last year...injury?goreyguy wrote:

Tom De Jongh is a more notable absentee, Barry Fitzpatrick aswell. Both are 7's.
Re: Ireland Under 20 2017
Both Leinster props in Ireland u20 squad weren't involved with Leinster during the interpros.
Both u20 props involved with Leinster u20 aren't in squad. (Mulhall/McGrath)
Both Leinster props who played Ireland u19 last season aren't involved with Ireland u20 this season.(Moautt/McCormack)
Notable that from the previous two leinster senior cup winning schools, only 1 player is involved with Ireland u20

I watched an U18 game between Ireland and England and Kelleher was one of the stand out players. Doris too.
Re: Ireland Under 20 2017
If Kelleher can stay healthy, he is a better prospect than his brother.
Re: Ireland Under 20 2017
Is his brother Cian Kelleher? Might explain the pace!goreyguy wrote:If Kelleher can stay healthy, he is a better prospect than his brother.

Re: Ireland Under 20 2017
Kelleher is a fine player no doubt can also play loosehead but hasn't played for anyone in almost a year not ideal prep to be chosen as only 1 of 2 hookers in the squad who will be thrown right in, will be hard for him to produce his best possible formdropkick wrote:Armchair wrote:Don't know anything about them are they any good. yeah it's surprise but they must have seen enough of him to go with it..Armchair wrote:Kelleher is a fine player no doubt can also play loosehead but hasn't played for anyone in almost a year not ideal prep to be chosen as only 1 of 2 hookers in the squad who will be thrown right in, will be hard for him to produce his best possible formdropkick wrote:Armchair wrote:Don't know anything about them are they any good. The absence of Conor Maguire is an odd one though given how well he has been playing for Old Wesley.
Re: Ireland Under 20 2017
Pretty sure I heard he his injured, possibly sholdergoreyguy wrote:

Think he has his finals and is focusing on those. Not sure he'd make it to the highest level but would love to see him have a go next year when he's graduated.El Diablo wrote:Whatever happened to Jonny Guy (ex Andrews). He was Ireland u19s last year...injury?goreyguy wrote:

fair play to him for focusing on college, temptation to pursue rugby is strong.Flash Gordon wrote:Think he has his finals and is focusing on those.
