Richly deserved award. Well done Joy.

Why can't I get this funny taste out of my mouth? It tastes like a "Strategic Review" & a "Coach part-time Appointment" sandwich.

Oh no, it couldn't be that, that just the musings of a sceptic!

Not sure if anyone is bothered but there’s a Four Nations Survey being carried out at the moment.

IRFU probably won’t pay attention to it but there’s a question about what your union’s focus should be for next four years and I took the opportunity to mention the women’s 15 team and their coach and support staff.

Certainly yes, it should be a focus. The skills level of the Irish women is appalling when you compare to England women for example.
But it should not be THE focus. The most important thing they should be doing, and of which they are doing very well at the moment is keeping our best players here (male players). We are, it seems, the only rugby nation in the world which has not yet seen a hemorrhaging of its talent pool to either the English or French leagues. Quite a remarkable achievement.
That threat is growing all the time, and that battle is getting harder and harder, and the IRFU must do everything it can to resist that threat.
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

Excellent achievement.
She had to duck to kiss the presenter on the cheek. But the presenter was George Gregan.
