22. Redpath is Brian Redpaths son, scottish legend.
Braveheart will be turing in his grave.
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

English side is here.

Am I right in saying Penny is the only one of our guys who has made a senior debut? Hill, Dingwall and Smith are all regular premiership players for them. Should be a tough test.

they will lose by 20+, keeping it closer will be an achievement.

Paddy Power have Ireland 14 point underdogs on the even money bet.

If you look at the overall profiles of the starting 15, it's a fairly lightweight side. The backline in particular are on the small side.

Maybe they're going for a fast and loose type of game rather than try keep the score down. Keep a few quality players on the bench to try and do some damage later on when the game opens up.

I expect an onslaught from England but hopefully Penny in particular can be a thorn in their side. Hodnett too.

Yeah, we could really get pumped in this one. That's a very strong looking English team. Unfortunate that Baird is missing this one, I was looking forward to seeing them. He has picked up lots of individual injuries this year, just been unfortunate.

Yeah none have been serious in nature, not uncommon for young locks who are still developing/maturing. hopefully he gets back soon, could be a re-aggravation of his earlier injury and in the push to get back for Ireland duty he came back too early.

Brilliant win, especially after such a shaky start.
