delighted to see Hawkshaw injury was not as bad as it looked.
Still no Baird, I assume due to injury.
Bad luck for Casey, especially as he had a great game

Great to see only one injury from a very physical game. Given the Scots shipped a big defeat by Italy, I'd expect a big kick-back from them. Another display like the second-half against England would be very welcome. Shame there's no TV coverage.

It's not hard to believe that RTE are not showing this.
They've only just resurrected their rugby podcast after a 2 year absence.
But is there really greater interest in the Women's 6N over the U20 tournament?
Is there f**k.

Scotland are the host country so they decide tv/streaming access for the games. RTE2 taking the pictures for the Womens’ game from the BBC.

Babybyrne got 4 out of 4 kicks. That's impressive by the sounds of the conditions.

But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

In fairness all 4 were easy enough kicks, a penalty and 3 conversions from more or less in front of the posts. He played well though.

I watched some of the other 2 matches at the weekend.

England demolished the French scrum. The French don't look as good as last year although they have a few excellent individuals like no 8 Joseph and out half Carnibal (spelling?).

Italy were shockingly bad. They could hardly string 2 passes together without a handling error. Wales didn't have to do much but feed off Italian mistakes.

At least the Italians streamed their match on YouTube!

Good squad rotation. Buckets of pace in back three. Lots of smarts and attacking flair in mid-field. A really talented, hard-working back-row with a very effective front-five. Good luck to them
