Hugh Cahill in great form tonight. Apparently our gigantic second row's one handed offload out the back went forward because of nerves earlier...

Haven't seen many of these guys play before, lots of talent.

What a try from Crowley!! Lovely flick to him and then he runs nearly the length of the pitch!

Jack Crowley’s try has to be one of the best individuals tries I’ve ever seen!

Crowley’s try was reminiscent of Brian Carney in his Wigan days. Scorching pace

They really play everything, it’s exciting and brave.

Some of the most enjoyable games to watch were last seasons U20’s looks like this year could be similar.

Crowley another one for the conveyor belt, they really need to move some of those young 10’s to other provinces for the good of Irish rugby :mullet 3:

Well Leinster is already stacked with 10s, he should probably move to Connacht, although Irish Rugby could do with a fifth province we have so much talent

Larmour’s in Thomond was marginally better, but only marginally.

The only lock Ive seen run as fast as Thomas Ahern just now was Ryan Baird, thankfully! What a try

Love the footwork that all our players use before contact and they all look to keep it alive as well. Whenever momentum does stall someone always seem to reload by coming from really deep at full pelt back towards the ruck and gets us on the front foot even if they're isolated. It's something the national side failed to do last year.

Ahern looks pretty special, really athletic and skillful with a big work rate. Thought Stewart looked good too, really good at putting pace on the ball and heading for space.

Finlay is exactly like Casey defensively, heart of a lion and makes brilliant and important reads. Not as snappy in attack but he looks good. I haven't heard much about Hyde but he's a bit of a tank and certainly has more to his game than just power, he epitomises what I was saying about good footwork and wanting to keep the ball alive, but was sensible about not throwing silly offloads.

Hernan has missed a good few tackles, needs to put his shoulder in instead of just using his arms. Andrew Smith is the same, was lucky to make a cover tackle in the first half when he went too high.

Good win and a fine game. But they will need to do some work on that scrum - and fast.

It was another good U20s game. Ireland have a lot of improving to do but still scored nearly 40 points which shows the potential. Main areas to improve are scrums, defence and cohesion.

I thought Crowley's performance microcosm of Ireland's performance. Scored opportunist tries without playing great.

Scotland looked more cohesive and possibly fitter too. It was a good night's viewing.

Interesting to note that Ryan McMahon was playing 6 and 8... he’s always played prop, first time I’ve ever seen him in the backrow. He was starting tighthead for Old Belvedere seniors throughout this season

Ireland had no depth or shape in attack quite often.

Dunno whether it was positional indiscipline or issues with Crowley but certainly made his individual efforts far more impressive than his management

He was excellent - an outstanding athlete for such a tall man. Great to see him stretching away down the touchline, but it was even more impressive to see the co-ordination he showed in springing off the ground to get over the line. That's a future test match player. At 206cm and with that athleticism, he can't miss.

Deeney was very good for us as well. He was always close to the ball, had loads of involvements and did everything well: tackled hard, presented the ball well, got off the ground quickly, got in good body positions entering rucks and on the deck. Thought he showed up really well.

Ahern only knocked the ball on twice and gave one forward pass, he was also holding the ball in the wrong hand when he was running down the wing, he needs to develop his rugby IQ and get a better skill set, Ryan Baird is by far a better athlete than Ahern in terms of skill set and rugby IQ and he’s an over all better rugby player and athlete than Ahern. The only thing Ahern has over Baird is height and that’s it

He was great last night in some aspects yes...just needs time to develop his rugby IQ and skill, of course with his height he definitely has the potential to be a full time starter for Munster and potentialy Ireland but Bairdo is the better player but will be interesting to see how Ahern develops over time

He's Munster is he, should get plenty of game time down there in the coming years. Him and Casey the new ROG and Stringer.
