Roux and Addison probably the big surprises out of that. Can't understand Schmidt dropping Roux now after he has picked him so regularly over the last few years. Or is he injured? Addison will surely be in too if he can prove his fitness. Very valuable player to have in a RWC squad.

Delighted for DK to be in.

Just checked with sources, possibility that he might not play again apparently. Hope that doesn't transpire, he's a super player.

Dads from Kildare, played for us at U-19, turned down offer to play for Wales at U20, playing for England in BaaBaas game which does not tie him to England. I wonder could a chat from Andy Farrell get him in green?

Maybe, but there isn't really a spot for him at one the provinces. Classy player, but he's doing well where he is and would probably back himself to kick on to the England squad proper.

Apparently Roux has a neck injury so is out at the moment. He might come back into the mix. Surprised about Tom Farrell. I thought he would have being worth a look, Deegan too.

England vs Baabaa's is well worth a watch. Three Connacht players got gametime with Heffernan getting on the scoresheet.

Scannell's inclusion is 90%+ down to his use of the left peg. Cooney rated ahead of him as cover for 10. Carty is the 10 who has made most progress, over the past 4 months, in the view of coaches.
