I would love a window showing Cheika permanently in the corner of the screen.
He is more exciting than Australia on the pitch.

He should be angry here.
Re: RWC 2019
40 - 16 was not a fair reflection of that game.
England should have scored more.

Yeah only one team in it.IanD wrote:40 - 16 was not a fair reflection of that game.

No need to waste energy.
England look to have another gear too.
Was interesting that they didn't use Tuilagi (was he on the pitch).
They also didn't use BV power.
He was busy but didn't have to do a whole lot.
The weakest SH teams gone now.
It's going to take a very good team to stop England winning the Cup.
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall who's the greatest player of them all? It is Drico your majesty.
Re: RWC 2019
Billy actually played quite poorly, was smashed back by Australian tacklers quite regularly.Oldschool wrote:Yeah only one team in it.IanD wrote:40 - 16 was not a fair reflection of that game.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Or more correctly, Wales have been on the benefiting end of refereeing performances ever since their fans sent death threats after the completely correct red card to Warburton.Twist wrote:That ball went forward

Re: RWC 2019
One of the most French performances imaginable this morning.
The elbow incident was one of the stupidest things I've ever seen in a match. He's always been a liability and I've never seen what's so good about his game that makes up for that. France were still well in the game though because Wales were awful but a few of their decisions were ridiculously poor. Not sure if this was before the red card or not but they were working their way towards the posts at one stage but then threw the ball back to Lopez for a tough drop goal that probably would have been much easier a couple of phases later, but then when they were under the posts for ages and had loads of opportunities for an easy one they didn't go for it and moved the ball wide instead which led to a turnover. Then Medard tried a really speculative one from 40m soon after that, crazy.
They also didn't put anyone at 8 for the scrum close to the Welsh line after Vakatawa's burst down the middle. The ball went loose, Dupont was turned over and that was the game in my eyes. They really should have won that, infuriating to make such basic errors after playing brilliant rugby.

Interesting that Barnes did not go upstairs for the tip tackle.

Thought so too. In general I thought Peyper had a decent game for once but he made his mind up very quickly there and didn't wait for the TMO to give his opinion.Twist wrote:That ball went forward

Re: RWC 2019
I think he should have checked but his view was pretty good I think. It's a joke that that's not red just because the Japanese player managed to stick an arm out and avoid landing on his head first. His head still hit the ground anyway.IanD wrote:Interesting that Barnes did not go upstairs for the tip tackle.

Red all say for me but I think Leitch deliberately barged in the air and should walk for that. Really dangerous.

Re: RWC 2019
Not only did he take him out in the air he even tackled him around the neck!
With the no red card for thr tip tackle I don't think Barnes will get another game.

Tip tackle wasn't technically a red because he landed on his arm/side first. It's a ridiculous rule but he got it right.fourthirtythree wrote:Not only did he take him out in the air he even tackled him around the neck!

Agree on that last one, he wasn't in a realistic position to catch the ball.
This is really turning now, Japan starting to be overwhelmed.

Re: RWC 2019
I think Japan have benefited from a lot of decisions today but it's crazy how often De Klerk gets away with being offside, he pretty much never gets back onside when there's a ruck.

Yeah they're all over social media saying it's "justice" and "karma" for 2011FLIP wrote:The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Felix Jones is doing a great job with that SA back line. He'd be a great coach for one of the provinces............
Re: RWC 2019
I assume in a special case like this Japan go through anyway because they play better rugby then South Africa in certain people’s view?
