I presume there is a valid reason as to why Jennings isn't in the eight?
Obvioulsy, Best is a better blinside than openside, but with Leamy and Easterbunny already there(and Wallace), was there a need for Best asa 6?

Wallace wins place in Irish pack
David Wallace is included in the Ireland team to play Italy
Munster flanker David Wallace has won a place in Ireland's team for the RBS Six Nations game against Italy in Dublin.
The 29-year-old openside from Limerick has not started in the Six Nations since the Triple Crown success against Scotland in 2004.
"David has been playing his best rugby of late with Munster and deserves to come in," said coach Eddie O'Sullivan.
In the backs, winger Tommy Bowe has pipped Ulster team-mate Andrew Trimble for selection on the left wing.
Munster hooker Jerry Flannery, who made his international debut as a second-half replacement against Romania in November, is included in the starting 15 for the first time.
Leinster second row Malcolm O'Kelly, who passed Mike Gibson's record of 69 Irish caps during last year's championship, will make his 76th appearance in a green shirt at Lansdowne.
Centre Brian O'Driscoll returns to lead the side after missing the autumn tests because of the shoulder injury he picked up on the Lions tour in New Zealand.
The only uncapped player in the 22 is Wasps scrum-half Eoin Reddan, who is one of the replacements.

Replacements: R Best (Ulster), S Best (Ulster), D O'Callaghan (Munster), J O'Connor (Wasps), E Reddan (Wasps), D Humphreys (Ulster), A Trimble (Ulster).

I'm with the concensus on 6 and 8. Wallace should start at 7 with Jennings (and DOC for 6&8) on the bench. Picking our XV to address Italy's strengths is exactly the kind of EOS conservative cr@p we should be avoiding. if we can't play our own game against Italy, we're f*cked against France.
France have picked for the scotland game: 6. Martin 8. Bonnaire 7. Nyanga How's that for a mobile back row who can still do the dirty stuff
