Just a thought i had when watching Royal 15 and USA on the week end. With there budget constraints would it not be wise for connacht to try sign a few lesser known players with potential to try and bridge the gap a bit with other provinces and magners league. After all if you cant compete financially you have to be smart.

The royal 15 hooker looked a cracking player
The USA no 6 Stansfield was quite good i thought
one of the usa centres had a bit to work with, got over the gainline well though lacked great hands.
They should also be looking at whats getting released from the other provinces and academys as im sure theres some potential there.
